Northwoods Norfolk has landed!

Derrick--
Just received my dark ebony.
I just want to give you my personal thanks for commissioning this beautiful knife.
It's my first under the Northwoods brand and it is perfect for my needs.
Quality is excellent. This is the first pen knife I have ever owned from any brand that has NO blade rub when opening either blade.
Sharp out of the tube...er...moccasin.
You have a happy customer.

I do have one question. I understand Northwoods knives have convex grinds...is this something I can sharpen easily on my Sharpmaker? I am not a free hand sharpener. Thanks!

Some of the Northwoods have had convex grinds, but these are the standard GEC flat with a V bevel.

Perfect!

I don't see this thing leaving my pocket soon. With the sunken joints, single spring, and thin ground blades, this is even more pocket friendly than the Pemberton!

I think I'll carry this one today while waiting for his pearl Winchester cousin

Got my Elephant Ivory today!!! Love the soft half-stop on the main blade. Pulls are perfect and its sharp! This knife will definitely see some pocket time! Thanks Derrick!!!

My next traditional will be a Norfolk. Unfortunately I live in Canada and can't order one in ivory. So probably calico bone.

Great job on these Derrick! Has anyone started a patina on one of these yet? Specifically, an ebony, I can't seem to make up my mind on which flavor I like best :p

As long as there is nothing in the package that says it's ivory they'll never know. I get tons of knives shipped to Canada and have never had a box opened. I did hear a story about one customs "agent" marking a package containing Mammoth ivory "May be an endangered species":D I almost grabbed an ivory norfolk but I liked the ebony better. Kinda holds the profile better IMO.

I'd go for it.

Best regards

We have had several Canadian customers buy them and send them to a friend in the States. What happens from there, I can't say. :)

Congratulations on a great looking series of knives, Derrick!
Well planned and executed!
