This was posted over on his forums:

Hey ya'll. I'm Mike and I'm a friend of the Owner/Moderator of this website and forum.

Bill suffered some broken ribs, a puntured lung, back injuries and broken shoulder bones during a fall, while testing equipment to perform tests.

He's currently in the hospital and will return as soon as he's well enough.

I! / We wish him a speedy recovery

Michael

Get well soon!

So sorry to hear that. He is a wonderful asset to our forums and such a nice guy. I hope he is back at full throttle soon.

Hope he had health insurance!!!

Also hope he heals up better than ever!

Damn! Sounds bad! Got any details you can share? I hope he's doing OK soon. Tell him that.

I had my first amublance ride (in 60 years!) last week. Sometimes life bites you in the butt.

Wow that sounds bad. I hope he recovers fast, well and without complications!

Is this the next step in the testing sequel...Noss4 testing his own body to the extreme ;)

Holy s***! That must have been a helluva fall... Get well soon, noss! Enjoy those painkillers while they last, and I hope to see you back testing knives ASAP.

>> Bill suffered some broken ribs ..
I got an e-mail from noss4 a couple of months ago and there he used different real name (not Bill). Thus, it may be just a rumor.

I'm just got out of the hospital today. Thanks for all your well wishes. I'm going to be laid up for a few weeks until my ribs fully heal.

No I didn't get it one video guys. (I'm disappointed about this .) I fell eight feet onto may back. I broke 1 back bone and 4 ribs and punched a lung. First time I have ever broke any bones. It's rough no doubt about.

Thanks again.

VVk: my middle name is William ( Bill)

vvk: thanks..They don't do much for you in the hospital about broken ribs. my lung repaired itself in about 24 hrs and re inflated. This was good news otherwise they were going to have place a tube in my lung. I'm glade it didn't come to this. I got very lucky.

People have died falling from 8 feet. Somebody is watching out for you. That is amazing about your lung. Good to hear you are doing better.
