NOSS 4 Injured!

Is this the next step in the testing sequel...Noss4 testing his own body to the extreme ;)

Indeed!

Noss, next time you test your body to destruction, at least get it on film!:D

Seriously, glad to hear you're improving. Hang in there, buddy.

Glad you're ok, noss4.

Just as long as we're on the topic, I noticed in all of your videos, you wear a hockey mask for protection/anonymity. The mask covers your face, and leaves the eyes unprotected.

But that's ridiculous!

Even if you've taken all precautions and the mask is wholly for anonymity, you should still have eye protection! It takes almost no force to irreversibly damage them. The hockey mask probably won't fit over safety googles, but I'd feel a lot safter with impact certified safety googles and a piece of cloth for the face, than the setup you have now. Facial skins heal, the eyes don't.

I believe this aspect of Noss4 testing was discussed very early on in his postings.
He does were high impact safety glasses underneath the mask.

G. Scott H.: I'll get it on tape next time. If there is a next time..I'm going to do my best to make sure this never happens again. Thanks.. I'll be back in action in a few weeks.

znode: Thanks.. Like JGarth said I wear high impact safety glasses under the mask. This is why you can not see my eyes. The glasses black them out. There are a few times you can see my eyes this is when I may be doing an introduction or closeout. The Bushman spear test I didn't wear them because I
was at a safe distance behind the point of impact. Some of the first videos I didn't wear them but I changed this practice. I always have them on whenever I
cut, chop, hammer, etc

Noss4, glad to hear you're gettin better. No testing is worth your fingers, eyes or a cut artery (although knife accident was not the case here).

Hope you get back to testing soon. Speedy recovery.

Noss, I am new here and you don't know me but I would like to extend my prayers and best wishes for a speedy recovery. I wonder if you have considered the possibility that someone was trying to get your attention. Perhaps not, but as a stubborn hard head I try to remember this whenever I end up getting a hard knock. Be well.

PatriotDan: Thanks...

Natch: Thanks and Welcome to the forum. Someone got attention. I sometimes do dangerous jobs around here. It's a daily routine. I just never think they are very dangerous when I am doing them until an accident happens then I ask the question. What was I thinking ?

ashtxsniper: Thanks..

Noss4, I hope you're healing well! Just bought a KaBar bowie after watching your videos. How did you break the tip, anyway? Just curious. Take care, buddy!

J.DaveyThanks, I'm getting there. I broke the tip off camera in the vice performing a flex test. This was the first knife in the series. The K-Bar heavy bowie is a good knife for the money. I took it camping before the destruction test and it was a good performer in the field. It should serve you well with many years of hard use.

rfbadger: Thanks I appreciate it. I'm finally able to move around and do some work. I still have to take it easy though.

I just noticed this as well. Noss, I hope you heal up well and glad to hear that your still kicken.

Cobalt: Thanks man . I'm still kicking. I just can't kick as high and hard as before.
