Political reason is still a reason? The real Camillus is long dead and Ka-Bar gets the rights from Mr. Becker to make his knives designs.

while Ethan is free and clear on all the Camillus and Previous knife models... There are only the two outstanding models not being made.

it would be cool to have them, but historically, they never sold well, and were dogs. not just under dogs

plus, the new stuff imho is better. we have more models than the old days. lots of choices. even other designers

What is sad is they do not make the old green Camillus Becker Micarta handles as they were the best and dirt cheap.

I think micarta handles have become a standard today. 10-years ago it was still just being accepted.
