So, you revived a 3 year old thread to say this? (Nearly 4 years old if you look at the creation date.) The F1 is a real nice practical fixed blade and I really like mine with the Fallkniven micarta handles. It's okay to start your own thread.

Bart, I know this is an old thread but I'm absolutely in love with your Fallkniven F1 with your custom micarta scales. It's so much better looking to me than the rubberized F1 and looks like a proper knife now. Are you still using the knife today?
 
I like the F1 for what it doesn't bring. I like it not being pretty. I like a non carbon easy to sharpen stainless because of the humid weather here.

Barkies are gorgeous, but the F1 is just so practical
