Big and small, 91 mm Spartan and 84 mm Tourist, both from the mid 1950s.

Nice old SAK’s. You don’t see them often. The one with the bail is exactly the one my dad gave me as a first knife in 1976. A guy he worked with gave it to him to give to me when my dad told him I wanted a knife.

I had no idea how special it was until I’d put a lot of wear on it. It took a lot of abuse.

Goes to show that they were built to handle a lot of hard work and afteral that is what they are intended for. I do believe nearly all of us in hindsight would reconsider the way we used one or two knives though.
