Both were made by Johnson Western Works, both are 4" closed, and the stag is very similar on both knives these are off limits for the pups. They chewed the tip off one of my puukko sheaths, so no more knives left within their reach!

Masterclass Stag there, love that blackened look of the bark stag Just don't let your dog gets its teeth on them .

Some wonderful pairings lately and they show one of the most important aspects of traditional knives: aesthetics - beautiful to look at, beautiful to use, beautiful to own

I've been debating with myself whether or not the Lierande counts as traditional or not. On the one hand, it is Lethiers. On the other hand, it sure doesn't look very traditional. Thoughts?

Many would question it, what kind of lock does it have? This might be key. I like the look of them, but too large for my carry choices.

It's essentially an exposed lockbock. You press where the arrow is, and the lock disengages where the circle is.
