Beyond notable, more like Noble 😍 Impeccable credentials coming from one of the most important sources to have come on the market in recent time. The collection was a reference point to the real quality of Sheffield knives c19th-early 20th, in contrast to the much inferior and even derided products that emerged from there in later decades....

Are you finding any? I've never been able to find any where I'm located in NE Ohio.
Im in south central Ohio and always have had bad luck with finding morels. I have 15 acres of swamp bottom thats full of dead ash and I couldn't find one in there to save my life. My son's friend found a half of a grocery sack of greys last weekend on state land in Fayette Co. He does well on the south sides of wooded/grassy hills and AG fields not planted in the last year.

Every year around mother's day theres a Jack Pine glass blowing and art festival I take my better half to get a glass pumpkin. I connected with a vendor there from Michigan who cultivates morels. For the past few years, I'll pick up a 1lb bag dehydrated morels (equivalent 10lbs of fresh) and a pound or two of fresh cut. Fresh is always best, but its hard to beat having morels year around. The mushroom water stock from dehydrated morels makes a fabulous crock pot or soup base.

Thanks for the info, WinMag775 WinMag775 ....I grew up in central Ohio and we were able to find them there, some years better than others. For some reason, they are tougher to find in my neck of the woods.

L losttime The area around dead elms has always been a spot to search for sure. My brother finds a batch every year near some older pines. My grandmother had good luck in old apple orchards. I always struggled to see the darn things even when they were right in front of me...pointed out by someone else, of course!

Sorry for the Morel derailment, folks...lets get this thread back on track :)
