GREAT find. Both special. One in bone, one in delrin. The delrin was given to me in 1995 by my grandmother, for Christmas. I just rexeived the bone covered one in the mail. Can’t believe I found it on fleabay for little to nothing. It’s been carried by a kid it appears. Dings, rubs, and scratches. It’s been carried more than used. I’m gonna carry the sucker!!!View attachment 3197896

That is sad. Do you think it is cost of steel or ease of crafting?A pair of non-locking MAM?

Sadly both have Inox blades. They no longer make them with carbon steel blades.
My guess is they got too many complaints about the blades discoluoring/staining.![]()
Complaints by (quote-unquote) "people" and or "humans" who "believe" patina is harmful to them and the knife, that do not know how to put a light coat of mineral oil, olive oil, or some other oil (3 in 1, motor oil, transmission fluid, gun oil, etc.) on the blade to keep it looking "new"...That is sad. Do you think it is cost of steel or ease of crafting?
The smooth bone looks thinner. Which one is your favorite?
