Never certain about stag until seen from above. Reese nailed it, or should I say domed it. This view also shows how Tony relieved the liner and scale slightly to enhance pen nail nick access. Not as easily done with stag as it is more variable and I chose opposite sides for nail nicks.

Macro view shows different size stock for different size blades and different width springs achieving the same perceived pull on both blades. Masterful.

Anyway... It's a celluloid wrap on the shell construction handles. I got the stockman quite a while ago and couldn't believe it when I saw the little jack a few weeks ago, had to get it for the matching pair! ;)
