November 5th Gathering

I am trying to make it. As of right now I am scheduled to work at 14:00. I will see what I can do.

A trading table would be great!
 
John, I'm still heading your way at about 5:30 a.m., so I should be there some time around 7:30 a.m.! I'm looking forward to it but, I'm not bringing very much with me this time other than the eats I said I would bring, and one of my knives! I think I will bring my Nessmuk and Hatchet set! I am about packed, and unpacked, packed and unpacked, and traveled out! I just can't handle this young peoples stuff anymore! I guess I will just go a head and concead to the younger guys, and let it go at that! The back situation is not getting all that much better! I will be there Saturday morning to pick you up though!

Hey Steve - are you still in for one of the Traditional Forum Knives? You had said at the last gathering that you attended that you wanted one of the extras I ordered - I will have the knife in hand Saturday if you are still interested.

Hi John -

You might want to post the directions again for the folks who did not go last time.

I will bring condiments and some chopped onion for the dogs - maybe a can of chili sauce that we could heat up on a fire.

I-55 to Chanahon exit (Rte 6).
Go west on Rte 6, all the way through Chanahon (couple of miles)
At the stoplight for McKinley Road, turn left (south)
The road runs straight into the park.
 
...Go all the way to the end of the road. Look for old guys with knives. ;^)

You guys have a great time. I flew through there early this morning on my way to Texas. I hope you have good weather. The wind and rain was nasty today.
