Number 77 Barlow SFO Question

I got in on this one for a pioneer bone, a sawcut bone, and an abalone. I didn't anticipate buying the abalone model, but my wife insisted. I think it's going to be her first traditional knife that she picked out for herself! :) I recently had to sell a few knives to cover some medical bills, but I'm very pleased that it worked out so I was able to fulfill my obligations and get a couple nice looking Barlows coming at the same time! Life is good. :)

I ordered the Sawcut Bone & Pioneer Bone and was very tempted with the Abolone as they came out looking spectacular. What a great first traditional knife for your wife, Dan.
 
Marlow is a great name for these. This one is gonna be a rare gem. I got a Blackwood and Red Camel Bone. I think they shipped today. Mine did at least. I suspect pics will start showing up Friday. 🙏
 
According to USPS, I shall have my blackwood 77 by the end of the day tomorrow! Whoo hoo! I will surely post some pics soon after.
 
I gleefully accept this responsibility! If anyone wants comparison pics to other patterns, I will do my best to do that as well.
 
I got notification that my blackwood and pioneer shipped, but no tracking info yet. :( C'mon USPS, I'm only a couple hundred miles away! Tomorrow is my birthday... Just giv'er a good throw!
 
If my tracking information holds up, our abalone and sawcut models should arrive in the mail tomorrow. Looks like I'll be spending my lunch hour sitting in the driveway waiting on the mail lady... again. :D
 
The tracking on my sawed bone and pioneer bone say Friday delivery. How about the first to receive theirs start a new thread called "Show Us Your Marlows" .......or something like that.
 
Man all this talk about delivery times! I still have yet to pick my stag barlow. At the moment barlows by far comprise the majority of the traditionals I own. Real excited. Kinda wish I got on early reserve for pioneer bone, but at the same time I'm not sure if I can justify purchasing 2.
 
I have a red camel on the way along with a bottom of the barrel stag.I trust Mike and GEC that it will be nice.About the abalone,I know nothing about it,does it chip or crack easy.I was kind of worried it may be fragile, it sure is beautiful.
 
My African blackwood will arrive on Friday. Sounds like a work-from-home day to me!

I've been looking at that abalone as well. Sure is purdy.
 
USPS says Friday for my saw cut bone. I can't wait to see pictures here, the African Black woods look really nice on GECs website should have put in for one of those too.
