Nutnfancy video worth watching

The only videos of his worth watching are the ones where he interviews product makers, otherwise he is pretty much just talking about himself like hes gods gift to tactical fanny packs.

I've been watching this on and off. Interesting stuff, though my eye is starting to twitch every time CPM is misused.

The man irritates me no end, but I think he deserves credit for using the knives he reviews. I realize that should be a bare minimum, but it's something many, many reviewers seem to neglect.

You mean like CPM-154CM maybe? (I haven't watched the video, but that's one that makes me cringe every time I see it. )

If I was drinking chocolate milk, it would have squirted out of my nose after reading that.

You are right, he does his research. He's not the type of guy who windexes his pelican case full of unused 1000 dollar knives (not that theres anything wrong with that). I should have just said he makes his videos unbearable with his arrogant babbling.

He's decided that every powder steel is a CPM steel. It IS kinda fun watching such luminaries as Phil Wilson, Ed Schempp and Gayle Bradley restrain themselves and shoot looks at each other when he does it.

Cool video! Thanks for posting, I usually don't watch Nutnfancy too much and might not have seen this.

I met Mr. Bradley, and had a brief talk with he and his wife. He is a VERY nice fellow, very personable.

best

100% agreement there.

Nutnfancy quote time.
"JIMPING"
"Dudes!"
"Tactical blade"
"Tactical grip tape"
"This sucks because its 3.1 Oz. I draw the line at 3"
"In a tactical scenario this Spyderco bug won't work"
"No bladeplay" (he says as he blows on the blade and it doesn't move)

Of course he needs a fanny pack. The guy carries 70 pounds of crap with him.
He's got a lightweight knife
A tactical-super-badass knife
A multi tool
12 pens
A pistol
A few bricks
A few more multi tools
A giant cell phone
Scissors ("You need scissors dudes they're tactical")

I still get a moderate amount of enjoyment from his channel.

It's so easy to hate on him, it pretty much takes no intellectual effort to point out the ways in which he can be insufferable.
But consider what all he has done for the industry.

I'll tell you right now, his review of the Kershaw Skyline from 6 or 8 years ago was pretty instrumental in me purchasing one, and that purchase is what caused me to end up on these forums daily.

This is his hobby. I think it's pretty arrogant to tell someone they're "not doing their hobby right" in your view.
If the guy likes JIMPING BRO! so much that he's actually gonna criticize Phil Wilson to his face for not incorporating it into the design of the Southfork, so be it. That's just him. Roll your eyes and get over it.

At least he took the time out of his life to go to this show and spend an hour making a video I happened to enjoy.
Sure he's a total goofball and I doubt I could tolerate him in person for more than 15 mins, but so what?

Nope. Not gonna happen. If someone wants to pirate it and rehost it, that's fine but I am not letting him make that fraction of a penny off my view.

His annoyance knows no bounds let alone his opinions and "facts".

honestly Nutn doesnt bother me. Im not a huge fan. I am far from what you would call a fan. But IMHO he is honest and genuinely seems to care about what he does. Does he know everything there is to know about knives? no. But he has stated that many times over the years and I would rather watch a review from someone who will make mistakes and admit that. Otherwise you have these other guys who think they know what they are talking about yet dont have the first clue as to what they are letting fall out of their mouth. I kinda think nutnfancy gets a bad rap because he is so popular. And that popularity generates a lot of fanboys. And that is where I think the hate should lie. The guys who treat him like he is more than a man. But I cant blame him for it. He seems rather humble.
