NY tristate high end knife shop?

Does anyone know of a high end knife shop in NYC or tristate area that stocks Chris Reeve and Strider?

If you can find one, you'll probably have to go outside the city. Think the only quality knives being sold there anymore a fixed blades and non-locking folders.

I don't know what brands they carry, but I just saw an ad for Paragon Sports on Broadway and 18th Street where they touted themselves as "New York's Largest Collection of Custom Knives" . . .

Last time I was at paragon sports I was surprised to see a ddr gunhammer but I can't remember if they had any striders or Chris Reeve knives...

I only remember spydercos and that gunhammer

Not sure if they stock CR or Striders, but they have a pretty good custom and higher-end production knives at Beautiful Blades in Midtown East.

Wasn't there a shop in NYC that you could stop in, grab a cigar and an adult beverage and look at knives? They might have been closed after the raids.

That was Paragon's knife counters a bit ago. The stock comes and goes with time of year, shows, etc....

The cigar and knife shop was probably the lamented 3 Little Indians Cigars that closed when the owner passed a few years ago.
