I was at the show Friday morning. Lots of great custom knives but... One knifemaker had finished "kit knives" on his table that he had marked his name on the blade, did a little polishing of the blade and was selling them for $300, claiming he made them. These kits are $25-$35 from various sources. I can't remember who the guy was but he was definitely a pretty well known maker. I thought this was pretty sleazy.

Great pics Joe !

SO happy I got the last Fire......

Hope everyone got home safe - see you all next year

Joe,

Thanks for posting the photos.

It looks like it was a good show.

But this Kirby Lambert was the knife of the show for me:

Not necessarily the materials (A little too dressy for my taste though this was the knife I wanted to win most) but this is a KILLER new pattern for him. It speaks to everything I am looking for in a knife these days. I can't wait to pick up a more EDC friendly version down the road.

Joe, thanks for all those images, helps all of us out when we get to see how it went, what was there, etc. And thanks also for all you do for knives in general.

Thanks Bob

A lot of very good people in the room :)

Was good seeing you on Friday Jon.

I agree great crowd on Friday and Saturday. Looked like many makers did very well.

See ya next year.

I was there and had a great day.I met a new friend and took home one of his choppers Brothersville Custom Knives(Peter Pruyn):)

I hobnobbed IN the show a little bit each day. I enjoy walking the aisles as much as anyone, and agree about the good people.

Worked HARD when I was back in the room. I will produce well over 50 images. (Some of those godforsaken dealers gave me pieces they bought right at the show. The nerve of them!)

I loved seeing you guys. :D Susan was a hard worker, too and took care of the finances. Wait, wut...???! ;)

Thanks for the tour!
I hope sling shots and bottle openers didn't steal the show.
:D

Thanks for the pictorial report, Joe. I thought about trying to go on Friday at the last minute but my clients had other ideas . . . I wound up working literally all night Thursday Night/Friday morning. Up 38 straight hours without sleep.

I dig that Lambert. Seems like a nice price, too. Congrats. Not too dressy for me - I love the materials, too!

Sean it was great to see you to. I'm not sure how I missed your name earlier as I spent most time talking to you. You had good looking stuff on the table... What was left at least.
