OD-1, I-DO, its a great little EDC. Lithweight, excellent flipper, and Kershaws new steel. It is a fantastic blade, Im sure youll enjoy it. Plus when you are not cutting with it it is fun to flip.

I swear, if this thread continues, I'll "borrow" my parents car for a trip to a Walmart that is over 10 miles away. You guys are not helping.

It's quite superb. While it's great that, despite the pivot being fully tightened, it flips out like lighting, the detent is a little less than I would prefer. A very weak wrist flick pops the blade.

So... keep those blades against the side of your pocket ;).

Otherwise, it's a great city EDC, framelock, Hinderer "lock button" and one of the more simply innovative flippers I've seen married to streamlined profile and 1/8 inch thick hollow-ground blade.

All the talk about this little gem FINALLY GOT TO ME ...travelled 80 miles to grab mine yesterday . Hey ... I WAS DETERMINED :D! Grab one knifebro, you won't be disappointed. Take Good Care and Be Safe Always.

God Bless :)

I too have it. Got it last week at WalMart along with a Barrage (2445STX). I absolutely love it!

It currently sits at the top of my EDC rotation (gets the most carry) out of the Zing, Scallion, Mini-Grip, Twitch II and Native4.

I wish I could say it loves me as much as I love it, but I can't. It has already 'bit' me. :o

Count me in. After reading the posts in this forum, I ran out and got one this morning. I am not a big fan of recurve blades which kept me from buying many of the models, but this one caught my eye. It is my first Kershaw, but will not be my last.

Boy was that sucker sharp out of the box. (and I have the cut to prove it. :))

Just picked one up an hour ago while buying some ammo. What a fantastic knife! It feels like it should really be a lot more expensive. It is definitely my new carry blade for a little while. I also now know what I'm getting my friend for his birthday! ONLY complaint I have is how high it sticks out of my pocket with tip up carry.

The ball detent on mine is surprisingly strong, there's no way you're flicking the blade out with just your wrist. It take a little extra force on the flipper to open it, but I prefer it that way. I guess I just got lucky.

I picked one up, and it is very impressive. Between the RAM and the OD-1, Kershaw has at least two manuals that are faster than their assisted openers. Considering that I got this knife for $40 at Wal-Mart, I cannot believe how well made this knife is. One G10 scale and a stainless steel liner lock makes this one very sturdy knife.:)

I got one.

Found out about it and where to get it on this forum.

I have the same issue with the nominal detent as stated above , but otherwise a excellent knife and a fine value.
