Oeser Knives...

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. Looking forward to catching up with some of you at Blade.

Thanks Jared for posting the picture of the Gunstock you made for me. The wood on the handles is from the batch of old handles that I found in the old Cattaraugus factory and Jared did a great job putting them on the knife we came up with. Again thanks Jared you are a true craftsman!!!

Great looking bolstered gunstock!

Lovely set, Jared!

I'm going to be down in your neck of the woods in a few weeks to visit family.

Nice work Jared. If I manage to get to Blade this year I'll look for you.
Mike, it's great to see the Cattaraugus wood being put to good use.

Jared, thanks for the proof that you are still alive & kicking.
Like all here I hope you'll find some time to make a few knives in your schedule.

A few French knivesmakers will go to Blade, I hope you'll enjoy your time there and maybe you'll have a chance to look at their work.
I recommend Raphael Durand, your finitions and his look very similar: ie amazing.

Bye !

Olivier

Sweet pic Trey!!

Well, Blade show was once again a blast! I met more great people and had a chance to rub shoulders with many of the greats. It also rekindled my creative juices, so look for some more unique stuff soon.

Here is a Diamond Edge Cattle knife I just finished up for a good friend. This one has a sweet clip blade and all blades are CTS-XHP. Oh yeah, and it has some sweet stag.

Thanks for looking!

J,

I've waited patiently for this piece and could not be happier with the end result.

A true artist, completely comfortable in this medium. I only wonder how your future will be

shaped by these steel expressions!

Jeff

Jeff is always doggin' my heels...I'm gonna have to keep any future knives a secret, I guess. :p

Congrats to you both.

Wow, that is an incredible cattle knife Jared. I figured it was for Elliott until I read further, congrats Jeff.

That's a fine looking knife, Jared! I can't blame Jeff for wanting one of those, Elliott!
I'd be tempted to drop that in my pocket everyday.

I suppose that imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, I stand guilty as charged!

I love J's knives and if I had to be second in this case, it's the sweetest place.

Thanx for the inspiration,

Jeff

Well, since I have no talent of my own it's worthwhile to at least have a good eye :p...and you're (all) more than welcome for any little bit of inspiration my collection may have helped engender over the years. I have been very fortunate to own several exceptional knives created by many fine makers most of whom have proven to be very fine people, making the experience all the more rewarding.

And you'd be right, Gary. Jared's knives cut and are just as useful as they are beautiful to look at.
