Oeser Knives...

I consider my Oeser moose to be the best knife I own. My most prized knife. I have been using it for some time now and as my friend Gev said
Looks better than ever, Jeff. Like a fine wine.

I tend to agree :)

and as I mentioned in another thread ...

Thank you gents! I am lucky to own one of Jareds masterpieces. I still have yet to find an error in his work. Every grind is even to the eye from side to side. After all the use it still walks and talks like the day I got it. Flush in all positions, no gaps. Truly fantastic craftsmanship!

I will also add that Jared is on top of his heat treating. Mine is made of O1 tool steel and keeps an amazingly sharp edge for easily twice as long as my 1095 blades. Not to bad to sharpen either(I don't own any diamond sharpening equipment).

Thanks again Jared for a fantastic knife! I carry and use it often and it works perfect for my daily use. Could not be happier with it! Look forward to another one someday :)

Parting shot :D

She's looking good! You don't see this too often either.

Patriot's Barlow arrived today. Such an outstanding knife that feels so refined. Fit and finish is truly amazing. Oh yeah, can't forget to mention it's hair popping sharp! Thanks Jared!

Jared made this for me… I call it "The Cross." He is simply amazing.

It certainly in anointed!! Was it Jim Morrison that said, " into this world we're thrown, like a dog without a bone." Well you've got yours now:thumbup:

Have any of you noticed how many other makers are copying Jared style of handle treatment? There are a significant

number of well known and respected folder craftsman that have followed Jared's lead. Not only is he talented, but visionary

at the same time, a renaissance man! This one is a perfect example of is skills...

Yes, Jared is definitely the leader of the pack in innovation of handle design. And he's not afraid to stretch the boundaries of "traditional" design. Because of this he's built a great fan base, his folders sell in just a few minutes when he sends an email announcing one is up for grabs!

Who remembers this one? (top knife) It's the first folder Jared showed us. It generated a lot of buzz at the time!

Nice work Jared!

More fantastic work from Jared.

My large gunstock is lonley. That American Barlow is such a cool, well executed knife. My original design from him was to be a two bladed grandad barlow, but I changed my mind at the last minute.

Every new knife he makes gives me a twinge of jealousy!

Twinge of jealously .
I get a indescribable pain down deep in my gut :)
I have no idea how to get one , but I would love to have what would probably be the first Oeser knife in Australia ( some lucky Aussie will now post up pics of their beauty and blow my dreams to smithereens )
I would cherish any knife made by Jared , but a single blade Sheepsfoot is what I see as I drift off to sleep at night :)

It had been a while since I contacted Jared about building me a knife. I had specified a half congress, but I wasn't sure when it would happen. Jared contacted me to ask if the interest was still the, which it was. I wasn't to particular about the handle material, as I knew Jared would come up with something different. He told me he had some coconut husk micarta that he would like to use, and I was intrigued. The knife came today, and I was blown away. It is different than anything I have seen, but works so well with the knife. under the micarta is blak and white G10( the white almost looks light blue). Here are Jared's pics of the knife-enjoy:
