Oeser Knives...

Great pics Andy! That one almost fell into my pocket, permanently.

Elliott, we should talk again soon. It's been a while. :)

I'll look forward to it, Jared.

Ok... Blessed to get another Slip Joint by Jared.
This one is a ORIGINAL Jared Oeser design... The Native. A special design by a special maker. She will be loved, by me and others, for years to come.

Lucky Dog!......:D

Here's my one and only: Two blade dogleg jack with jigged black paper micarta over blue and white G10 liners.
A gift from my wife, made available for purchase by a generous member here. Truly outstanding and not deserving of any more bungled description I can provide.

Just read through the whole thread, don't know what to say other than they are the most amazingly stunning beautiful knives. One day I hope I will have the honor to own one.
Really like that rag mircata, never seen that before, some really nice colors on it. [emoji106]

Looks really clean and slim! The pocket slips I've tried are pretty chunky, but that looks like a joy to use.
Someday I'll find the time to learn leatherworking. Someday... Maybe after I get myself a fancy custom knife, heh.:p

Pictures haven't come through unfortunately, sounds interesting. Looking forward to see it.
Haven't got round to posting pictures my self yet so cant give you advice sorry.
Sure there is a thread for just that though.

Arwel.

Nice Zulu, Jordan. What material are the covers? Figured I should add my Gunstock to this thread. Python Micarta over black G10. Jared makes a phenomenal knife, I hope to pick up a larger Gunstock, and one of his Natives eventually.

Thanks!

Your gunstock is a stunner as well.

The scales on this Zulu is a brilliant combination of G10s.

Love the gunstock shipwright, got to be one of my favourite patterns.
Never seen that python mircata before, looks cool.

Jordanlh - nice Zulu, love the go faster stripe!

Oeser designs are beautiful, different, modern really digging them.
Mmmm one day i will have one hopefully. Just scared to get one shipped over to the uk, i have had knives confiscated by customs in the past. Cant afford to risk it with an Oeser, maybe one will come up for sale in the uk at some point.

This is almost done, very anxious to see the final product, looks fabulous so far. Happy to be Jared's Guinea Pig
on this project. It's been in the works for quite awhile and finally reaching the finale!

I like that, Jeff. I look forward to seeing it here.

WOW!!! so beautiful...i hope to see it finished
This is pure design 100%!! Hypnotizing flowing over there!!

It's done and on it's way as of this morning. In his own words, Here is the Native LB Whittler Prototype complete. Final specs are 3 7/8" closed with blades of CTS-XHP. Pull on all the blades is a nice easy 5-6 with the master having a lighter pull.
Everything nested together nicely and flows beautifully. And of course the back springs have to be seamless. Hope you all enjoy this one. It's something I never dreamed I could have built just a few years ago.

Jeff

Congrats, Jeff. Jared makes beautiful, functional knives. This one looks to carry on that tradition in style.
