Oeser Knives...

The metal thingies were a reference to the bolsters. I guess she likes a hard working shadow pattern better. :)

Yep, I got that on the first reading. (And it's hard to fault her on her taste. The shadows are quite nice.)

When I showed it to my wife she said, "It's nice, but I don't like it with the metal thingies on the ends as much as the other way you do them." Go figure.:D

Jared,
The Norfolk looks spot on!

If your wife is like mine she will get a "eye" for the way these knives should look. Nettie is my final inspector before I call a knife finished:D

This is the 6th time in two days I have tried to respond about this knife...enthusiasm dwindling...

....stunning knife...I don't say that often....

The bolsters pull the knife together and IMO this is the best Norfolk you have made so far, Jared.

That Norfolk is awesome looking Jared, and I'm sure it functions just as well as it looks!

I have to say, I really like the black paper handles on this one. Visually striking!

The Norfolk is just outstanding, oh wow! Beautiful work sir, really awesome.
I received my Case/Bose Norfolk the middle of last year and love the pattern. I imagine it cannot be easy to have those blades fit so perfectly.

Here's a new zulu pattern I put together. This one is 3 3/4" closed with an etched O1 blade and spring and black burlap covers.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks guys!

Finedges, I'm glad to see you are enjoying yours. The zulu is one of my absolute favorite patterns. I need to make myself one next. :D

Wow Jared! That color combo just looks "fast" I feel like it might, at any second, rev the engine, drop the clutch and leave a smoking patch of rubber on the asphalt!

A real stunner, in hotrod colors!

They must dye the burlap before layering and saturating it with the epoxy/resin.

Some one is going to be very happy to get that one. The etch really looks perfect!

Great looking knife and I like the way you think "outside the box". That etch is awesome!:thumbup:
