Of all the knives in your collection do you favor a particular one with more pocket time?

If I have pants on, I carry 2 Spyderco’s plus a fixed blade.

In town it is a PM2 and M2 and either a CPE Tanto or Volunteer Knife (m4.2 has been a very constant companion since I got it). Off the road and at my remote cabin I carry 2 Endura’s with orange scales, and a fixed blade (which one/ones depends what I am doing and I usually take 3-5 with me).

Regardless which blades I happen to be carrying, I always have a CPK SDFK with me off road.

There are a few that instantly come to mind, but if I overthink it I keep adding more to the list. Then I didn't even consider SAK's until mentioned above, but often for those the choice is based on complimenting my folder choice for the day. There are just so many variables ranging from weather and season to activity and changing preferences.

I'd say the pair that most consistently make it into my pocket year round right now, and certainly a favored pair, is the Sebenza and Victorinox Companion. It is the pair I carried for the entire month of Feb when I stayed at back home in Florida, and never left me wanting for variety.

Then there's my CRU-WEAR Manix. I must have had this thing for nearly a decade (it originally came in CF). I tend to not carry it as much in the damp PNW winters, but come summertime I certainly favor this one.

A workhorse that often makes it into my pocket without even much thought is the LW Para 3 in S90V. It's stainless, comftorble to carry and use, handy lock; it's just easy.

I probably have 200+ knives in my collection but this PM2 in plain ol’ s30v, carbon fiber SDK scales, all ti hardware and a lynch clip finds its way into my pocket more than any other knife. I’ve bought a lot of knives, some cheaper others more expensive that have seen little to no pocket time, but there is just something about this one particular one, the action, feel, the “ting” noise when it opens and closes that just speaks to me the most. What’s the one knife in your collection thats the same for you?

Well, I used to have a CRKT m21 that I liked that way, but I gave it to our sone when he went to Iraq in 2004 . . .it didn't come back and I haven't replaced it. I had a similar feeling about a Calillus "Cuda Maxx" folding dagger, but that really is not appropriate for EDC civilian wear. I was given a pretty big Spyderco folder, but its too big for pocket carry (for me) and the Spyderco "big eye" visual esthetic does not speak to me.

My current EDC is a Leatherman Wave, carried in a horizontal belt pouch.

I usually carry a Spyderco GB2 or an old tanto Umnumzaan. Around the house doing chores I have a guardian tactical 3.5 for easy one handed use. I'll switch it up with other knives for specific uses when I'm out.

Yes. I’ve got a habit of having doubles of the knives I really use. The amphibian took awhile to get used to.. it’s actually a really good cutting tool.
Is yours G10? Trying to decide between that and aluminum. And why are they so much more than the standard issue?
