I usually don’t let people get under my skin but today it definitely happened! About two months ago I had a meeting with an academic adviser because I was accepted into my first choice school she tells me my grades are by no means good enough to get into the major I was hoping to get into despite my GPA was over the requirements stated by the school…….ok fine just retake the one class that is bogging my GPA down right? Nope can only do that over the summer or winter semesters at this school. So this basically adds 1 full year onto the time it would take me to get my degree…….F@#k that! I started looking into different schools found one I like, got accepted, and have been attending for almost a month now. Today I get a F@#king email from the adviser saying that I was accepted into the major! Are you kidding me how is it acceptable to let someone know that a month after classes have stared! Is this school really that incompetent? No way I’m going back there. It’s been a long day……….How is everyone here? Hope your guys days are a little less frustrating.


............Ok I'm done sounding like a whiny little girl. Looking forward to the machax if it ever comes, MMMMMMM machax :p

NSevens, I would word a very nice letter/email to this advisor letting her know that, because of her prior "advice," your tuition dollars are going elsewhere.
I'd also CC her department chair, her associate dean, her dean, and her provost. :D

I might do that.......The whole meeting with her was very strange and not very academic. She kept saying things like “I’m not going to sugar coat this” and “I’m just telling it like it is” she clearly had no idea what the hell she was talking about. She also made assumptions that I was a lazy student because I had one bad grade in Calc2 from a semester I had gotten sick………….Eh whatever I have moved on and am at a better school. Talking with other people that have been to that school (many who attend the one I’m at now) have had similar stories that the administration is just full of BS.

I had a Hogue Stock on one of my 10/22's

It was pretty cool, kinda tacky and picked up sand and dirt easy.......taking it to the desert didn't help much

had to get rid of it after that

it's for a revolver... impact absorbing required :) shotguns are easy compare to this
 
Random input, my Becker left Ohio yesterday, was in MS today and was sent out again an hour ago. it aint but about 5 hours drive from me when it left MS so hopefully it will arrive for tomorrow's mail run!!!!!!!


gonna be very pist off if'n I have to wait til monday.......
 
i have driven to the building holding my tracked item, and just sat there. my precious. even though i had to wait 3 more days. i knew it was there.

only wait Ive had worse on my nerves is the xmas my wife bought me a rifle...I got a present with the reciept and accessories, but I hadda go down and sign the papers to get the rifle............and the damn gunshop was CLOSED until jan 3rd!!!!!!! 8 days of knowing I hadda rifle and couldn't touch it. HORRIBLE.


was my 3rd Mosin Nagant btw...love those old ugly Russian rifles.
