didnt come in today so now its not possibly gonna get here until monday. *sigh*




so I went and bought a Mora today to play with until my Becker arrives. Been wanting to see what the hype is about on these ''fillet'' knives for awhile, so I finally got one. Mora Classic No. 1
 
That banquet I've been organizing is tonight. By about 10pm it'll be all over.

All day tomorrow is going to be me and beer sitting in the sun by the pool. Kid'll come up; "Hey Daddy can I" *HAND* "GO AWAY". "But Daddy you" *HAND* "GO AWAY". Wife'll come up; "Honey will you" *HAND* "GO AWAY".

No pools in my future for another couple-three months. Its cold as a witches mammary gland here...supposed to snow tomorrow.


But I'll take u gettin to have pool time in Feb....cuz I remember how HOT phoenix is in the summer LOL

Stopped by a restaurant supply store and picked up a bain-marie with lid for 6 bucks. Add a little scrap 12 AWG and you've got a heavy duty billy pot.
Oh, and I "borrowed" Warrior's cable clamp firesteel trick for my Al's sheath. I love good ideas.

This is the 1 1/2 qt size, the smallest they make.

No, but I'll take one if you'd like. It's a 1/4 inch plastic cable clamp fastened with a chicago screw. You can get 3/8 for the bigger firesteels.
 
Ah I get it, like the ones they use when they install ur Sat dish. I have some of those somewhere.


I had a brain fart and was thinking HOSE clamp when u said CABLE clamp. Makes sense now.

Had my daily carry backpack stolen out of my Jeep last night. Not too happy at the moment. Mainly a blow to the heart, not the wallet so much. My fault I suppose for leaving it unlocked. I'll be locking my Jeep from now on no matter where I am. Gonna stake out the neighborhood tonight in hopes the little punk comes back for round two.

That sucks brother. Hope you catch him/them, and beat the living shit out of him/them.

EDIT: On second thought, give me a call, and I'll jump outta the bushes with my murder harness, and chase the little bastards down the street. :D I'd never catch em, but it would at least put the fear of God into them. ;) :D
