PA is also an OC friendly state, but depending on your region it may not be okay. Out here in Rural western PA open carry is fairly common in addition to being completely legal.

If you're taking it from the shop, I suggest you leave it in a case. If it doesn't come with one (it should, it's new. if it doesn't, get a Glock instead ;) ), cheap ones can be had for $15 or so, maybe less.

Gets harder as we get older huh? :(

Group hug!

I used to lift 6x a week (didn't hurt that I was a personal trainer way back when), now I'll lift once every... month or two? Can't seem to find the time to drive down there anymore.

Been doing more cardio stuff at home, since it's more convenient and less time consuming. But I agree, grown up stuff really gets in the way.

Not according the the pa website. But that could also but one of those rural ignored laws. So many people do it in a rural area that they don't care but its on the books to police the suburbs and urban areas that they don't want people carrying openly. Yeh It comes with a case its a cz not a hi-point :D

Anyone know where I can get the BPA nalgenes?

Hey fellas I'm going in for a job interview tomorrow at a new place. I'm pretty excited about going there since I've heard nothing but good things about the place, and that everyone loves working there.

Wish me luck.

PS I'll have my 13 or 14 with me for luck :D

Late to the party but well wishes none the less.

Good luck Bro, and think positive!!

All the best for your interview, Nick! Taking that 14 with you will help, it did wonders for me!

Dumb question since its my first handgun. If I don't have my ccw permit yet how do I get the thing home from the gun shop lol?

Yep, according to this you're good.

From:http://cd.textfiles.com/group42/WEAPONS/LAWS/PA.HTM

Transportation in a Vehicle

A handgun being transported in a vehicle without a license to carry must be unloaded and must be carried under one of the exceptions listed above under "Carry." Rifles and shotguns may be transported in a vehicle as long as they are unloaded.
While transporting a firearm without a license, it is up to the person carrying the firearm to demonstrate that one of the exceptions under "Carry" applies. A law enforcement officer may demand such evidence of an exception.

.....

Carry

Any person carrying a firearm "in any vehicle or concealed on or about his person" is required to have a license to carry or a Sportsman's Firearm Permit (good only for hunting and fishing).
Exceptions: No license is required:

......
4.) to carry an unloaded and wrapped firearm from place of purchase to one's home or place of business, to or from a place of repair, "or in moving from one place of abode or business to another."

MrKnifeKid....u really need to make another Post quick! LMAO

Is BPA really a problem? I thought that whole thing was proved to be a false concern.

Anyway, I have 4 "winter survival kit" bottles from Target that I picked up for around $1.50 on clearance and have them filled with .22 ammo. I love that idea and have a few friends that are doing the same thing, now.

Sure, wikipedia isn't 'authoritative', but it does contain references.
I believe the industry-funded studies consistently produced results indicating it was safe while studies with no conflict of interest consistently reported detectable effects.

Good luck Nick. A piece of advice from my experience.....Don't wear a Batman mask.

Yeh that got me fired from T-Mobile. Apparently their ditzy spokes model DOES NOT have a fetish for the dark knight. I got a sexual harassment civil suit and they took my utility belt.

I should have known better than to ask something that can be snarked back at me :P

Let's try this again: Does anyone know where they still sell the old BPA bottles cheap?

I believe Nalgene took them off the market.
