I got my BK10 today. Awesome blade but it must have been made on a Monday... the F&F are the worst I've ever seen from Kabar. The grind on the clip point is incomplete and uneven, the scales don't line up with the tang and it has some majorly ugly grind marks. Overall disappointed with the manufacturing quality, which is a huge first with my experience with Kabar. This puts me at blade number... 12 or 13 from them, so I guess it's OK to get an ugly one out of a dozen, but I just wish it weren't the limited edition one

BK6 saves the day! Came out of work to find road conditions horrible, but before that a sheet of ice covered my windshield. Since I never carry an ice scraper and opt instead to improvise I decided to pillage the Jeep for a suitable alternative. Needed a good reach and a sturdy straight edge. Who wouldn't choose the patrol machete?! I will now use the BK6 before anything when clearing ice.

Nothing, I treat myself really well during any normal month. I will say I'm waiting on a Fiddleback Bushfinger and a KFU Kephart. Unfortunately I don't need a special occaision to buy stuff.

Just got back a few minutes ago. Had a great time. Got some freezing rains last night, and some of the side roads were not nice. Saw several cars off the roads. Freakin' ice newbs.
