huh huh huh, Reinhardt Combat Khukri just showed up. icey cold, but pristine, appears to have never been used.

convexed factory edge, made in Japan.

they (literally) don't make them like this anymore.

it will join my Becker/Reinhardt khukri for all time. finally. only waited, what? 30 years to get one? :)

now to get the others. one by one, they shall come to me! come my wee blades. come to Daddy!

Wow what is up with snody? I keep reading threads saying people ordered blades 7 months ago and never got em. Remind me not to buy one.

Yeah, the image is kinda strange but I have heard nothing but great stuff about his work and personality. Maybe he is just in a rough patch.

Weird, I bought a kit blade off Snody a few months ago and he turned it around immediately. No $$$$$ or anything, just a sweetass profile and grind. Can't wait to haft it.

Out of all the makers he seems to communicate with his customers the most, so it's really weird that people have been waiting a long time. Maybe him and Mark Wohlwend have been hanging out? heh.

Haha, I did see those pictures of "a" Reinhardt Combat Khukri, I just didn't realize they were of "your" combat kuk.

Besides, this thread can always use a little extra snark, for which you're always gracious to supply :D

they're all mine, the owners just don't know it yes ;D

Did you read the last page? With the editorial on green river works?

That's not an editorial. Bill Heavey writes a humor column. He's the only reason I still take F&S.
Otherwise, it's the same old recycled stories from years past and product promotions disguised as reviews. :p

I don't ever notice authors. I usually don't ever read that last column, but the opening line about knife collecting drew me in.

I think some of the F&S advice columns on hunting are just plain ridiculous, take this months "stalk in plain sight" how to stalk a deer by walking straight at it across a field. Dumbness just shoot from across the field with your 300 mag with the 1000 yard Nikon scope F&S recommended you buy last month
