That's a polyester fiberglassing resin, I used Everfix, same thing different brand name. The work you did will either harden or it won't, I did 4 batches with that back in the begining and 2 turned out, 2 didn't. One set up in 5 minutes and the other never did. I switched to envirotex bar top resin after that and then to everfix marine epoxy resin, thats what I use now. Look for something that has a 1;1 mix ratio, that'll be easier to work with because it will set up. It'll also stink less and give you a consistant open time (dry time). More expensive but less waste, so cheaper.

Falco holsters is at it again. They told me my order was custom. Shipped in 10-20 business days from payment date. That was the 17th of February. Still no update so I emailed them saying they have 48 hours to ship or I want a refund. They emailed back saying that its done and will be shipped.......from EUROPE! And that I should receive it in about 8-12 business days from today. Wtf! Almost two months for a holster? And who the hell knows what can happen in customs, it could be 30 days. I should have just bought a galco and been done with it.

Checked my bank acount this morning, and I'm broke(no surprise), 5 min later Ka-Bar called me back and I had to tell them I needed to wait on my Bk4. Broke my heart, but there should be one left on friday for me :)

I ordered a Theis.... Since he builds one at a time, he has a 4 week wait... not bad... considering a crossbreed was more coin, and a much longer wait...

Pretty much the same holster.

I didn't do much research. when I got the pistol 90% of the people I talked to said falco is awesome and reasonably priced so I went with it. The one I ordered said "in stock" and ships in 1-5 days. At two weeks I reached out to them 2 times with no reply, the third time the emailed back saying the one I ordered was not in stock, but had to be made and it would ship in 10-20 days from payment Feb 17. Still no holster on march 21. I have half a mind just to order a galco to hold me over. It would be here by weeks end. So low and behold I won't be ordering one again from falco that's for sure.
 
I'm turning in my concealed weapon app today. App says can take up to 45 days to get it back, but many people say its much shorter since pa is a "shall issue" state. I wonder which will get here faster. The holster or the ccw. Any takers?

...and they are the wrong size. FML and eff having to buy online! Grrrrrr
 
I ordered a crossbreed supertuck and they got it to me in 3 weeks. I was impressed, it said 6 - 8. anywho,

I made a snow dinosaur, it doesn't snow often here, and it's already rapidly melting, but I enjoyed it while I could!

So smkw just emailed me saying they are replacing my lost bk15. Not gonna lie I was tempted to say thank you and get another. But in the end I replied that it finally showed up. Bad karma isn't what I need right now. Not over a bk15. Maybe an RBK or a chrome machax but not a bk15 :D

Good man. I'll post up my final stuff this evening or tomorrow. I put a set of Camillus micarta on the RBK. It improved the grip a lot, but doesn't look as sweet as the micarta. I figured I could pass it on with the knife.

My gf picked these up this weekend. Pretty neat if you get them on sale, otherwise too pricey for me.
