Got word, Waylon is doing good, better than expected in some ways. Heart is a little smaller on the left side,but they say his breathing is really good. I think they thought he'd be on a ventilator, but little feller is stronger than they was thinking he'd be.

Well I wanted to bring this to all the wonderful people here on the Porch. Your prayers and well wishes has sustained Joyana and myself and helped us through a hard year. Well today my nephew and wife had their second baby, a baby boy. Doctors observed in ultrasound that one side of his heart may be under sized, and if so he'll undergo open heart surgery in a few days. Then again in a few months, then once more in a few years. I pray that everything will be normal and healthy, doctors will be astonished. I know that everyone here will contribute prayers in their own way, and for that I'm forever grateful. This community is so great that if I am burdened you all would be upset if I DIDN'T ask for help. So please say a prayer for little Waylon, your eternally grateful friend, David

2022 was a great and terrible year here. My wife and I welcomed our third son into the world, thankfully very healthy.

The less good, doctors discovered a tumour in my arm. Had to go through all the tests and surgeries to have it removed. Got the results back - benign! Great, so we caught up with my sister and her partner to tell them the good news and she tells me she has a tumour. We just found out two weeks ago it's cancer and has spread to her heart and spine. She's 27 and one of the most beautiful people I know. They were getting married in a couple of months then trying for a child but now the wedding is postponed and it's unclear whether she'll ever have the opportunity for children.

Praying for everyone here who needs prayer! Prayer has kept my older brother alive for 8 years with stage 4 lung cancer diagnosed 8 years ago (with a 5% 5yr survival rate).
