Actually you did make me chuckle but I am past the point of laughter hurting me. Now I just have to watch sudden movements and leaning to my left. Itll be a while before im all better but I am recovering ok I guess.

I will now begin drinking in order to make your pain go away. . . Not sure that will work but I'm pretty sure that one of us will be in no pain!!!

Not to try to 1 up you but 2 years ago I spent 3 months in the hospital with 5 chest tubes on a vent. After I came off the vent and they pulled the chest tubes (word of warning make sure you push the morphine button before they pull it) I received basic rehab for another month. Long story short after I "healed" my lungs where still very tight (only way to described it) and was later told "why didn't you get the chest message treatments to break up the scar tissue from the chest tubes", response "no one told me". Well now it's too late and damage done. Not trying to scare you, every case is different but I would bring it up just to be on the safe side. Good luck and heal well. PS Morphine good.

Damn that sounds really bad. I am home now but I had a scare on monday ...Was pushing my breathing exercises...went back to hospital to make sure everything was all right and it was. However I now am breathing at maybe 1/3 of what I was before I strained myself. And now when I breathe I feel these wierd little flutters in my lung...almost like coffee percolating. The docs cant hear it and every day it gets fainter.
Hopefully Ill pull through this 100%. Ive always been a tough SOB so Im hoping that that trend will continue...

Last update and Ill shut this thread down this friday.

I went to the doctor this morning( err yesterday morning now ) for my first followup and I am going to be out of work until 7/3 . 7/3 will be another follow up and I will either be released back to work on light duty or may need one or 2 more weeks of recovery. Since this is a workmans comp case from UPS I will be covered on that end and the day job even though I am a temp said they will cover me as well with disability. So it appears all is well, will just be rough waiting on these damn short tern disability checks to arrive.

One small matter that needs attending to is my issue with Lexi and Pokey. Whilst I was in the hospital I requested that they fly over to Jersey and give me sponge baths...on a rotation basis. Can you believe that neither one showed up?

Apparently B.L.A.D.E was more important than MY needs. Unbelieveable.

Ugh butterflies.

Goint back to work tonight. Its gonna be rough. Ive been out a little over 2 months and I am basically like a baby veal...way outta shape for what my job entails. There was talk of me doing some light duty or a different job for a few days / weeks and ease back into it.

Screw that Ex Army infantry, Im gonna go balls out all in right back where I was the night I fell and busted myself up.

Leaving in about 15 minutes......

Hah too funny. I go to work tomorrow and friday...then the following week I have a 5 day suspension...For not working safe...and then I go back regular duty on the 20th.

Only in America.

Bah, that tube hangin outta me is a great picture. Maybe I will have to have Jerry make me a INFI tube I can use to inflate my lung the next time I collapse one. But since itll be a custom itll be 100 bucks and inch....pricey.

And as for the sponge bath... I will try my best to make Blade next year... then rest assured I WILL COLLECT!!

Them having me come in and work tonight and tomorrow then suspending me from the 13th - 17th chafs my willy though. Oh well more time for me to lounge...lol

Heh thanks. I just got back from work. Today they let me work in my old spot. I handled it just fine and no worries. It was like I never left.

I took a few pictures with my phone of where I was standing when I fell and what I landed on. Its pretty nasty. However the pictures came out blurry. I will get some better ones tomorrow.
 
Ill be headed out to work in a hour or so. Once ypou guys see what I landed on youre gonna get skeeved out I guarantee. Last night was my first time back to my work area since I hurt myself and it was kinda surreal. Other than that odd feeling everything else was buisness as usual. I wasnt having any of that ...easing me back in. Im all in or nothing. Everything worked out well. I know I am not is as good of shape as before, but I was in top form nonetheless. I was a litle worried at first since the first month or so I was like a Veal... hardly moved around at all. Even the last month I didnt do much. My only activity has been the occasional swim with my daughter. And in that case swimming isnt the right word .I sat there in the kiddie pool an made waves for her lol.

Anyway I will take some good pictures of the scene of the crime and post em when I get back home and am done showering... round 4 am
 
Bleh never mind me, I am a dumass...

Guess who forgot to charge their phone.

Ill post up the pics when I go back to work on the 20th.
