  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

you mean there's an old one :D

hah......

seriously though, I have little ones here so violent games are out bigtime..

however I play a mean mario kart online.. :)

I still have that game for my atari, yes!!!

I've never let that thing go.

I also still have the running pad for my NES!!:D

SNAAAAAAAKE!!!

Mario Kart 64 on Nintendo 64 for the win. One of the best group party games in existence. That and Super Smash Brothers. Although I liked the latest version a bit better for that.

I loooooved Metal Gear Solid, but it got weird quick with the second one, so I kinda stopped playing after that.

I think I still have my Intellevision somewhere.

I used cheat codes on metal gear solid religiously. I miss the old style resident evil. Wandering through a mansion shooting zombies, good stuff. Too bad that also got weird as the series progressed.

Don't burn anything down with that thing, they are some really, really good firesteels. :D

I'm making a fire this weekend!! Honestly, with practice, making a spark fire is easier the making a lighter fire. I only use jute and pine straw for tender then add the kindling. Easy as pie. Now to try it one handed...

Aaahhh, I forgot about the one handed fire starting contest! Is it still happening? I gotta get on it.

Can you shave of bits if a firesteel and then light the shavings like you can magnesium blocks?

I still own a vintage C-64 with tape deck and 5 1/4" floppy.

I had an 8" floppy. No, really.
Just had no drive to use it. :-D
So I moved to hard drives instead...

speaking of sharpening (as we were some pages back), I think I finally got this one sharp enough.
It takes a LONG time to dress the edge on A2! Just used a Tri-stone, freehand, and then strop on the nail buffer:
