yeh that one is sweet. He asked me about using different types of woods, but I like a certain look in my wood handles so i opted for the same stuff my edc is made out of with black liners, only since i was worried i wouldnt like it. Damn if i had known he had that stuff. He will be posting up pics of mine tomorrow, im psyched to see it

heres the wood on my edc, not sure what it is (chris told me but i forget)

Sweet knife Warrior. Is that one of his edc models? If you have a BK-11, how do they compare?

Yes, it's the wide blade EDC. Similar in size and shape compared to my 14, don't have the 11. Handles are more comfortable on the EDC, since it's more rounded. It also has a convexed edge on it. I love both of them. Only shot I have to give a size comparison:

Sweet. Looks like more handle and less blade than the Eskabar. I may have to make one of those my first custom knife purchase. Whenever I have some money.:D

Lot's of good stuff on this page..... Like the liners and raw finish of the KFU blades alot. Flexx, can't wait to get those orange liners on my 3!

The Machax (BK-4) is surprisingly innexpensive as far as I'm concerned.... just considering what it is. I can't say how much dealers are gonna charge but I do know that dealer pricing is about the same (within a couple dollars) as the BK-9 and less than the Tac-Tool (BK-3). Hope that helps!

I'm gonna chop the hell out of everything in sight when I get that Machax in my hands! Like a 9yr. old kid pretending to be a Ninja.:D

Is saw dust good tinder? Building a larger shelving unit with 4x4s that are full of resin they're bright orange and wonder if I should scoop up some of the saw dust and save it

I have seen people make tinder pods with sawdust or shavings from fatwood. Fill the sections of an egg carton with sawdust, pour in melted gulf wax. When it cools seperate the egg carton to form little tinder pods. Light the carton and the wax/sawdust mixture will burn.

+1 - I do this, works great and gives you plenty of heat to boil a large mug of water -- or get other stuff going.

I would not post up plans to deanimate & section up 9 yr olds impersonating ninjas in this forum -- that's what prac tac is for. :D
