The Maxpedition Tac-Ties are always a little bit loose, so I'm trying the Blackhawk STRIKE speed clips.

They're not crazy loose, and if you alternate over/under each molle strap, it's plenty secure.
For me at least, there's always a touch of play in the strapping, and the pouch/accessory isn't snugged up tightly against the pack or carrier.
I use the directions on Maxpedition's site:

Derek - it's one of the ubiquitous steel cups -- gonna line the handles with p-cord, too.
fits the big kru bottle perfectly -- need a 12x5 bottle bag to carry it, though.

I've tried those Blackhawk ones they seemed a bit loose too, Always like the Tactical Tailor Malice clips best.
