Got these last night while doing some stocking stuffer kinda shopping. They were cheap enough and I think they'll work well to control my "plan B" bag.

I saw those when I was at the PX yesterday. I didn't see any reason I would need them, but I did get some black 550 cord. First time I've seen it there; they had it in 100' and 50' lengths.

Speaking of cord; I just ordered some Amsteel from west marine (a local store here by the base) for my hammock suspension. I'm gonna make some Woopie slings.
 
I tried MountyMomm but all I found were cougar porn pics. :confused:

Yeah but I can tie a couple half hitches around the cord and it will stay just fine. Or a ranger band on my 550 cord spool works just fine. I'm thinking though that I'll find something I could use them for some day and I won't have them or they'll cost more than what they do now.
 
Liquor store was out of Jamey (a crime I know) so I picked up gentlemen Jack and I gotta say....damn that's good
 
Hmm odd. Just got an email saying I'd donated to Habitat for Humanity, when I didn't actually make such a donation. It's like charitable identity theft? It's got my address and email and phone number listed, but doesn't say HOW I contributed. Need to keep an eye on that. I mean, it's Xmas eve, and I'd love to contribute to charity, but if I had $100 to blow on charity, I'd be sending it to Knife Rights. Fortunately, it doesn't seem to be showing on my account yet.
 
Got a Buck 119 from my dad for Christmas. They live out in the sticks... no internet and choppy cell service. Im going through BF withdrawls...
