You get a weekly email that shows you some stats about how many people looked at your page and if they reposted anything, how many more people that reached. I usually just delete those emails from my photography FB page. I suppose if I really cared to market myself, I'd pay attention.
 
This is an old knife my dad had, a large folder. Nothing high dollar, but I've always admired the looks of it. Dad died over 25 years ago, so it's got a bit of age to it. He actually found a small gun holster for a sheath that fits it like it was made for it.

A while back, the Nalgenes came back for a bit, and I grabbed one.
The version I got was a Brita promo. Same size and everything. Just has a logo on one side.

warrior your pic inspired me to go snap this real quick, this was given to me a couple months by my wife's uncle it was her late step dad's no real sentimental value.. I didn't really want it but it was one of those deals where you couldn't say no...

anyhow the sheath is one I've never seen before when the knives sheathed you simply pull it out and it unfolds on its own into open locked position..

You leather guys should like this.. :)

not sure what the green stuff is, appears to be crayon or something.. guess I'll have to oil up the knife while its out..
 
green stuff is corrosion from the acids in the leather reacting to the brass.

just looked at my receipts. paid like $120 for the large version, "brand new from storage". hah. ain't brand new now. it's a bit large for casual trips, but i'll see about using it more.

i like that it's *quiet* compared to a max-ped bag. those things are loud, esp when it's cold out.
 
that's a trip because it wasn't there when he gave it to me.. maybe he wiped it down every once in a while..

makes you wonder if there is galvanic corrosion when people use copper pins/tubes in knives ehh?? I've been curious about that...
