Hell no, desire for them hasn't slowed, problem they had, is they made them too good. Folks would get what they needed, and never have to get more than a couple to last a lifetime.

That and the price of stainless steel went up. Lost of tools being made outta the stuff on both sides of the line, nurses to soldiers, and whatnot.

I'd love to have one.

So I'm back. I ended up going swinging up near Zion this past weekend. Broke my ring finger left hand.

I need a new bottle, I was using my BH bottle this weekend and it was nice, but I had to keep running to the river to fill it.
 
I don't know if i should be proud or ashamed, but for as long as I've been here this is the first time EVER that I've actually followed this thread all the way through :D

Over on Facebook there have been some words exchanged between "us" (us being the consumers) and Guyot. Basically, in a move designed (I believe) to appease us and stop with the hate mail, they are doing a small run of griptions for those of us on their Facebook. We placed orders last week, but have so far not heard a time frame for when they would be done or delivered.

Gus if you happen to see their booth and they have any griptions available, I would try to make it worth your while to pick me up a couple. If not no worries, I have two on order with Guyot directly, and another one that has been on backorder for the better part of two and a half years now.

Thankfully I caught the sale on the Boy Scout website where they were selling the stainless bottles for $5 each and have plenty enough of those for awhile. But if you can, kick em into gear! ;)

I asked that same question a few days ago. Ive text him twice with no respone and called him yesterday and got the same response that trade got. not accepting calls at this time. wierd! hope hes o.k.!

Seems like I've been waiting on that Brute forever! Hopefully he's ok, though. I know he was really busy helping on the farm...maybe he found some hot country babe and they're off having a good time.
 
just checked my Facebook account, if I get 30 likes I'll have access and insights to my activity... what's that all about??

I have a personal FB (that I don't use) but for some reason either its changed from a year ago or I've set it up different somehow...

anyhow I'm curious if I get a prize or something... .
