I don't know what the hell a Uwe Boll movie is. But.................I can say that I'm not a Maserati kind of guy, or a Sebenenze kind of guy.. I'm a 12 year old Jeep Wrangler kind of guy, It has never failed me, never failed to get me where i wanted to go. And, I live in North Dakota. That's why I love Beckers. And if I totally didn't get the jest of the conversation, it's cause I've been drinking Jim Beam. So there!

Baldeagles alright..... I will only assume your jeep rocks because you have a 4.0.....
I had an '88 i kept for years put like 180,000 flawless miles on it then sold it to my brother for practically nothing..idiot then went and drank the jeep away..... Deal was he was suppose to sell it back to me if he sold it..... Sooo hard to ever trust family

I think the perp needs to be locked in a broken down car with a dozen angry cats in the 100-degree heat with no A/C, and only a cellphone with the antenna removed to call for help...

That would be...poetic. :D

And forced to watch Uwe Boll movies.

Ouch, harsh. If it's Alone in the Dark, very very harsh. I don't think I'd wish that on anyone, although to be fair, I'd rather watch an Uwe Boll movie than watch Versus again.

So far, the main candidate for the card theft seems to have something to do with Amazon. I've had my credit card number stolen twice out of my last 4 transactions on Amazon. Last time, it was the Amazon credit card, and the number was stolen before I even received the card in the mail. I'm never shopping on Amazon again. 50% rate of credit card fraud is too high for me.

Thats why when ever I shop on amazon I buy those visa giftcards. I'v litterly walked into walgrenes and bought one for the exact amount I need. Im talking about pennies here too they look at you like your crazy when you buy one for $167.65.

Damn, that sucks CF. I buy so many things from amazon. My wife and I have averaged about 4 purchases a month for over a year now and have never had a problem. Just got a package from them today.

CF, you might want to run a malware scan on your computer. Makes me wonder if there's a keylogger or something on there tracking what you type.

I run malware/spyware/AV checks twice weekly with 5 programs (Avast!, SuperAnti-Spyware, MalwareBytes, Spybot S&D, and Adaware). Nothing wrong on my end. Not to mention, I've been using this same credit card for 4 years with nary an issue, until I popped on Amazon again. You'd think if it were a problem on my end, someone would have tried using it before now. Also, it can't be on my end, because I didn't even have the credit card number to type in the first time it was stolen. Nope, just doesn't add up, and the coincidence of having my card stolen twice, both times after shopping on Amazon, is a little too high for me to feel safe purchasing off of there. Just because you haven't had your number stolen yet, doesn't mean it's safe.

People are often paranoid about online stuff, but then they don't think anything about handing their credit card to a slinky looking waiter who's probably broke. :D

Good morning folks!

Hey Derek,

Good news from Guyot. Production on the Gription is going ahead. The gal the OR booth assured me it was happening. Although she did get a pained look on her face when I brought up the subject!

The other good news is that their stainless water bottles will also be available this fall. She said that Nalgene had committed to a new production run.

Here is a quick pic I snapped at their booth.

Thanks for checking on that Gus, I really appreciate it!

Somebody there is all about tapering bottles. Wish they would just go ahead and bring back the straight sided one.

Agree T,

I believe the Nalgene versions will have straight sides. Will try and drop by there today and confirm.
