Yeah boy! I haven't been able to get to my favorite Jamaican place in a while. It's called "Grannies" and man is their ox tail amazing. Their goat roti is also awesome. You can get it in two flavors too.....white boy and traditional lol. The looks I used to get when I would order extra spicy traditional scared some of the locals lol.

Yea man im super stuffed right now and it was DELICIOUS. Well what i ate was, It was for lunch, but there is still enough left over for the entire family to have dinner LMAO,

The Oxtail is spectacular, i get it 9 out of 10 times i order from there. I really dig the jerk chicken as well. This was my first time getting the curry goat, i wasnt that big a fan of it though.

I get paid on the first, and the wife gets paid twice a month.... So twice a month we eat out and everyone gets to eat whatever they want, i pay in the beginning of the month and then the wife covers it towards the end of the month. It works out pretty good and keeps us from ordering out too much. I almost always pick the Jamaican place. Its YUMMY.

As I recall, the old Soviet Spetsnaz (and presumably the current Russian version) used to train to fight with them similar to a tomahawk...not to mention it's uses as a digging tool.

I didn't ask her Gus. She did say she had a sizable lead after the swim and bike with PR splits for the swim. She wasn't happy with her run splits but she's been dealing with a back issue for the last six months and hasn't been able to train like she'd like on the running. It was a very pleasant surprise that she did so well. She switched swim coaches a while back and it's paying off.

What's up Guys......... Thought I'd show some of what I've been working on the last couple of days.

Did my first mass production of Fire Steels or Fero Rods...... However you choose to call them. I did 30 this time. Never have done more than a couple at a time before this. It's usually just one or two as I need them for myself or to give to friends and family.

This is also the first time I tried to dye the antler. Tried about 10 different concoctions and finally found something that worked. I used Axis deer antlers for this batch and most of what I had was pretty white from the sun.
The Black ones didn't turn out like I wanted but aren't bad. Overall I am real happy with this batch. Did the first coat of All Natural 100 percent Tung oil. 1st coat was cut with Turpentine and next 4 to 5 will probably be straight up.

A few rods aren't show and I also made a bunch more strikers that aren't done being shaped yet.

In other news, im pretty sure I just experienced the straw that broke the camel's back tonight.............. I coach my boys ball team. My son is 9 and loves baseball more than anything. Today we played our first game of the season. Unfortunately, we got our asses handed to us. However, my boy plays first base, he caught every ball that was launched at him and got about a half-dozen outs. He also hit a triple that ended up scoring 3 points. Regardless of how the team played over all, he kicked ass. I was very proud. Tonight, we had a campfire in the backyard. I told him how proud I was about how he played, and told him he was professional material. He told me then that that is what he wants to do, he wants to play professional baseball. I said "fantastic"! Go for it. He bowed his head and said. "Ah, its just a dream..........it will never happen." ........ it broke my heart......then I realized I was doing the same thing. Many of you know about my shitty situation with my job............. I really never realized the example I was setting...... I think im gonna turn in my notice Monday morning. Shit stops now.

Congratulations on finally pulling the trigger. Things will work out for the best in the long run. One of the best things that ever happened to me was when the computer company from hell sent my job to China and said there's the door. Thought it was a downer at the time, but I wouldn't trade what came after for squat. We're all pulling for you.
