New Snarkage! First time in on 1!
Also, thanks a lot to all you guys for the well wishes, thoughts, and prayers for my daughter, it means a lot. We just got back from Indianapolis. Got her MRI done. BARELY! She paniced in the confined space and had to take her out. It took me and her Mother about 20 mins to calm her down and get her to try it again, I hated to but I had to talk sternly to her to convince her the importance of it. After that, she was a real trooper and got through it. But, I'm sure it was a pretty scary expierence for a 10 yr. old. Of coarse we won't know the results for a few days, but as I was telling Murph on the phone earlier, I honestly have myself convinced that whatever is wrong, she is gonna be O.K. so that's good. Its just difficult as a parent to see your kids in pain or scared and there's nothing you can do for them.
I need a band saw, a drill press, and a belt sander STAT!!!
I need to find someone trading tools for knives LMAO
not quite but it sounds good nonetheless..In on one Wheeeeeeee

Todd, sorry to hear about your daughter we will definitely pray for her..
my son went through hell when he was around 2, in the hospital for a week, then the day after he was released only had to return as a nurse had contaminated him from another patient with the rotovirus, in for another 5 days of hell in the little cage they had him in... they tried to set an IV but he was so dehydrated that it took 7 times, they held him to the bed my wife passed out, I was on my way there from work or I would have had to kill somebody.....
never felt so helpless in my life, hands tied and nothing you can do but 'try' and let he dr's handle it... which never seems they can do anything right cause its your kid laying there......
hang in there buddy...
It's that you really do feel totally powerless to do anything for them. Todd, having been through a different but similar situation with my older daughter a few years ago, I think being stern with her was the loving thing to do. My kid had fractured her skull (not as bad as it sounds) and I couldn't get her to go into the MRI for nearly three days after we entered the ICU - they wanted to check for spinal damage, long story short, the delay caused some unneeded heartbreak. You don't have to do anything special for them, you already are - just being present and being her dad.
I wish you and your family well and with good news about your daughter.
I have to take a happy pill to get in the damn things.. at my size the wall of the tube is almost touching my nose.. my chest gets compressed and I have to put one arm over my head and one at my side to fit.. It really sucks and i can totally sympathise with your daughter. Hope the results are positive..
Its still one if you set your settings to max posts per page.

That's awful!iOS 7 Will KILL your baby.
The good thing about drill presses is that one piece of equipment that you can get by with a cheap one. I have a craftsman that's pretty decent, but I also had a $40. Harbor frieght one that I used the sh!t out of for about 12 years. I ended up giving it away to a buddy of mines son about 4 years ago, and he still uses it.
Thanks Rob
In on one, for once.
WW, what do you want to do with the belt sander? If you're looking to make knives, don't skimp on that. Get a cheap drill press and a porta-band bandsaw. But don't cheap out on the belt sander.
