Official 2007 Traditional Forum Knife Pics Thread

So this is my dilema, I don't have any safe queens, I guess I'll have to carry it.

Who else will make an EDC of their Forum knife?

Here's #15 from 2007 along with #13 from 2006's traditional forum's pick from last year, one more and I have a collection.:D

I am. In fact, it has barely left my pocket since I received it. I'm also looking forward to next year's already as well. In short, I'm hooked!

#027 delivered to the Republic of Tejas today. The ivory on this one was some sort of hideous purple color. After an hour of rubbing with some 80 grit sandpaper and a nice long soak in some industrial strength paint remover I was able to remove the all that purple.
A quick shot in the closed posture.

It still looks purple to me. Maybe periwinkle hues. I think you need to rub on it some more.

Here's #32:D

Man I wish I had got in on this. These are great looking knives! I will have to get in on future knives. Steven

OR,

I imagine we will be starting on the 2008 version soon. Just keep you eyes peeled and sign up.

I am still carrying our 2006 version, but you guys have convinced me (especially AmosIronWolf) that this years needs some serious pocket time. :D.

I'm imagining the 2009 version as a Sambar Stag Peanut with Damascus blades: 1 clip and either a pen or wharncliffe small blade. I'd scoop up a couple for myself, and a few more for posterity. It's never too early to start dreaming! :D

I have an amber bone damascus peanut coming my way any day now. I could not find one available in samber stag. I would love to see a wharncliffe damascus blade as the secondary blade. I am a fan of the wharncliffe blade.

Posted elsewhere, but this is the official spot!

Nice knives, guys. I really like the heavy main blade. Would a knife like that be better in a case or would it be fine in your pocket?(still looking for a first and I really like the look of this style)

One of the nice things about the canoe pattern is that the bolsters cover the blade tangs, so they are quite comfortable in the pocket, and don't have any sharp edges (other than the blades... ;)).

There are those that think no knife should be in a case/purse/murse/etc. On the other hand, ivory scales may very well be worth protecting against any other crap in your pocket. I wouldn't want mine bashing up against my keys, for instance.

I do carry mine sometimes. Unprotected in the wallet pocket. But the credit cards or summat seem to be scratching the polished finish a bit.
Here's the pic's:

That's a really nice knife, guys. How large would it be? I mean, is it fine for the bottom of your pocket or would it be better suited to a sheath?

I've been carrying my 2007 forum knife in a pocket clip pouch like this(only larger). I made three different size pouches to accommodate all of my slipjoints. The pouch goes in your pocket and keeps the knife upright and easy to access. I carry and use all of my knives on a regular rotation (3-4 days each).
