Late to the party, finally took some pictures

Were these "natural micarta" handle scales wildly different in terms of lighter and darker or is it just the lighting in all the pictures posted. I see some that look vanilla light tan all the way to dark brown reddish?

I think you're seeing various lighting scenarios, along with the darkening of the micarta that goes along with handling it.
