I voted for micarta, as it's one of my favorite handle materials. The burlap sample looked very cool, but burlap can be kind of variable in my experience. I prefer paper or linen micarta for consistency and overall look. :)

Second choice grouping would be Delrin or wood.

I don't buy knives with animal-sourced handle materials (bone, horn, antler, etc.), so as beautiful as they can be those are non-starters for me.

Just have to say, this burlap micarta is sick. Very consistent on both my 110 and 501 samples.

Koa is an option? Ohgod yes :D Always wanted a koa knife. Seconds would be burl for me; there's just so much stuff coming out in micarta that it kinda lost some of it's magic imo.

Wasn't there also talk about jigged bone as an option?

Currently voting for Group 6 Ram Horn but a question are there any images of what the material options may look like? What color(s) will the G10 be available in?

Holy smokes, I forgot. Adding now!!!

There are so many G10 and Micarta options it's nearly impossible to get examples for all of them. My best idea would be to google any options you are curious about.

I voted for Stag/Rams Horn. I think a rams horn handle would be awesome, and very unique. That is not a handle material you can get very often in a SFO from other makers. My 2nd choice would be mother-of-pearl.

I see a lot of great choices, but went with the Ironwood group (for now). I would also be very interested in Stag or Elk, but they're each paired up with Horn choices. Would it not make sense to have an antler pair together, and also the horn pair together for this first step?

I don't expect much in examples from Group 1 or 2 as they can be made in so many colors but I am curious about how Buck's offerings in Groups 5-9 would look. Is the CF that Buck uses typical CF or marbled/random CF?

There is standard CF, marbled CF and blue twill CF
