    I sure do hope the numbers on the handles match the spot on on the group buy list. Crossing fingers hoping I didn't just jinx the possibility of that. However it turns out it is fun to see the process knowing there is a knife somewhere in those pictures coming this way.

    the numbers are put on while Allen is cutting the blocks of wood. It's how we keep track of the "sets" or "pairs"

    Out of curiosity, what does the Scotch-Brite pad do for you that a finer grit sandpaper doesn’t?

    Very fun to watch the progress building the group buys. Specifically the one-off nature of the DIW handles, the shaping, the "Candy Shell" buffing. Can't wait to see the Osage variations come out in the final shaping and buffing as well.
