Was just talking with a friend about this. He said its 1 pint added to 1 gal cider 1 gal of juice and 2 cups sugar couple cinnamon sticks. I thought it was 1 quart?
 
I talked to Logan Thursday and he is making 100% sure the dates we've selected work. He doesn't see it as a problem as we're 4 months out and he' had a hell of a good time last september, He himself is coming up with contest ideas and wants to chat with the captain about it. He asked that we institute a policy of putting guns away as soon as the top comes off any liquer (Likker). I told him we already did that. We're on track i think as far as location, We are being very well received based on last years event.
I called Ethan and 1) made sure he knew we were having this event and 2) Invited him to come out to it. I told him if he can't make it to at least send out the moose, He said "You don't want the Moose" . I told him "Hell yes we want the moose". Anyway's he's gonna send out another box of goodies again this year for the contests and whatnot.

I would think Logan had a good time. He left with a bunch of cool stuff!!!! :)

I hope that either Ethan or Moose can make it out this time. Common guys......you know you'll have an awesome time!!!!!
 
This is random, but i think I'm going to bring my camp toilet thingy I made. It's just a toilet seat on stilts pretty much, then you do your business in a hole, but it sure would be nice for the lady folk in the party. perhaps it'll be for girls only! muhaha.
 
Well I got my time approved :) Now I just need to decide what sorta blades to bring along. I am hoping I can get a hold of a new Machax before then!
 
I'm hoping to have at least the mini mag by then; but who knows what's gonna happen with all those. A machaxe would be pretty sweet though......

I've been so set on getting these tweeners for so long now it was driving me crazy!!! I have recently come to the realization that I already have so many knives that fit into these areas of practical use. But I really had to ask myself, do I have anything that could stack up to the Machax..the short answer is no...so I have to have that one first for sure, the mini mag 2nd, the mini clip third and the mini camp 4th. When these were first leaked to us I thought the mini camp was going to be my first one...how things change when you really sit and think about it and let the excited wear off...
 
If anyone is really wanting to host one of the contests this year, speak up. I was thinking I'd do fire this year again but if someone has a real passion for that, it won't hurt my feelings any, because then I could compete in it.
 
One thing that could be a neat change to the fire building contest would be rather then doing it one handed, whoever can gather and build a fire with a knee high flame the fastest wins.

Also are we going to get an RSVP list going?
 
Sorry I an moving haven't paid mich attention to the forums except on my phone. Ill try and get a list up soon.
 
Yeah if I do it this time I'm thinking of tying some twine a set distance off the ground and the one who burns through it fastest wins. I'm thinking 18 inches off the deck. It'll probably be flint & steel or a ferro rod ignition.

Does everyone want to play throwing tamahawks again? I done got one now too. :D Maybe this time we'll change the game a bit; seein' how you guys got some skill building last time. Lets make it more challenging this time.


Or we can just do it like last time. Everyone had such as awesome time. :D :thumbup:

Naw man not stupid at all. There is going to be one 3rd week of may 2012, in tennessee. Beckers place. Which is real east of me.
