Official BeckerWest April 2013 Photo Thread!

Hey Everybody.......

What a great time I had.......Fantastic company, in a magnificent setting........How can you beat that.......

Many, many thanks to Fal'er especially for his great organizational skills, Dan for his extreme kindness to one and all (All soft and fuzzy all the time), the Captain for being the magic unicorn.........You all really made me feel so welcome......Not a pain in the bunch...........Thanks to Tom for beating me up in the morning and getting the flames a'climbing and the coffee water on the boil.......Great folks who are kind enough to laugh at my jokes are hard to find .....I will be back.......

Fal'er please thank the land manager for me......Letting us share that spot is some kinda fantastic......


I will be sharing pix when i get home on wednesday.......The internet service where I am staying sucks so, I'll get back on mid week......

Wow that is high praise. It was great to meet Ethan and I am amazed that he would travel across the country just to visit with a rowdy bunch of us who just like his knives. He is a down to earth guy who was eager to share his vast knowledge, tell a good story, make a funny remark and he makes one hell of a good pot of chili.
Thanks to all who help cordinate the gathering and run events out there. I had a blast. Also thanks to Kabar for the awesome box of goodies. I love my new kitchen knives. This is going to be my annual spring break from now on. Sorry I dont have any pictures, I try not to take them they just get me in trouble later...
 
This is an awesome thread, all! It looks like it was a great time! We totally wanted to go but we have 4 puppies and didn't want to burden everyone with the barking, poop-stomping, etc. Maybe when we are more established in the back woods and have friends that can watch our puppies.

Yet again, the Beckerhead West Gathering fails to disappoint. I would reccommend it to anyone who like knives, the outdoors and good company. Big thanks to Ethan for making the trip. It certainly shows a lot about you if you are willing to take the time to hang out with people who appreciate your work. Fal'er thanks again for putting it together (by the way, you make Tom and John look like children in the photo). I am glad Bill made the trip despite being sick. It was good to meet Chance (a fellow Case fan and biker), Kevin and the other Tom (ie., the new guys). Dan was a trip as always. I cant wait for the fall gathering to all get back together again.
 
Looks like an awesome time was had by all. So jealous, in a good way. Maybe one day i will make it.
 
Sure wish I could have made it up there. Looks like alot of fun and would have been fun to meet everyone. Thanks for the pics, keep them coming! :)
 
I'm a not so friendly friendly troll. And yes I said that in my sarcastic tone, obviously your meter is broken. Most of you don't know me( widerstand knows me ) and the few of you who do know me as the owner of a broken bk9:( Thanks to all who posted pics and as always beckerwest was a win.

Cool pics guys, that Kabar Zomstro has a second, third, and fourth kind of cool. Sucks about the Camillus BK9 breaking, but very cool Uncle E replaced it on the spot. Thanks for sharing the pics, epic outing for sure.
