Is it YOUR 1200 acres? No, I think not. And those 1200 acres are used for a hell of a lot more than just 2 Beckerwest get togethers per year. Personally, when I take my kids up there to camp, I don't want to step on someone's shit. So, call me a hippie if I care about keeping that site clean. If you don't want to use a bucket just please dig a hole. Any old hole. It can even be a libertarian hole ;)
 
At least at the Northeast, trailbum has a toilet in his house....my 9 & 13 year old girls probably wouldn't go with me if they had to poop in the woods. It's a bit of a walk to get there, but that just means they'll only go when they really need to. Ain't nuthin wrong with a honeybucket.

I was thinking we could turn the bucket of crap thing into a contest. The only question would be the criteria, weight, height etc.

It might be an urban legend but I heard one Beckerhead took a crap out there, lit it on fire and then shot it with a suppressed .22. I'm only guessing that it was a Republican dug hole.
 
I have it on good authority that a beckerhead once took a gnarly dump (no bucket) while taking a swig of moonshine and then blasted said pile of dung with his AR. All while wearing night vision goggles I believe.

If you guys wanna hear how I take care of business in the woods, I'm more than happy to talk about, Hanging wind chimes & popping smoke grenades. There's a whole ritualistic process involving suppressed weapons and I tell you, it's a zen moment fer shiz.

I'm suggesting those who want to do it in the woods, do so. Those who don't, don't. Blast the grogan any way you want. Be respectful of others. We haven't had any issues yet and I don't for see any now on #7. I've spoken to the property manager on numerous occasions and he has never expressed displeasure with how we have conducted ourselves or how we have left the place.

Sounds good to me, man. Yeah, it's none of my business how you, or anyone else, drops a deuce. Never was my intention.
I was just trying to offer an idea that I thought would be helpful. At the end of the day, a bucket of shit don't matter for shit--it's just going to be good to spend some time in the woods and see you all again.

I found some of that land jaeger at a local meat market and I'm gonna keep my eyes peeled for a big ass loaf of bread.

So, a couple of things,
1) the property is not available to us on Thursday which is probably because I never really asked for it to be (gotta work). I did send a text, but did not follow up. My bad. I think he said no because it is hunting season and they do let folks hunt that property but it could be because I was not going to be present on that day. I don't know which.
2) regarding the having of fire, technically we are in a burn ban, but curt asked me to call him tomorrow to talk options and I have one of those backyard fully screened in ambiance fire things I'm gonna send him a pic of. That may be something he would be willing to do.
3) He said wear your body armor because there will be folks hunting the property that weekend. Bring first aid kits, chest seals & decompression needles (mostly kidding about #3).
