Buck Custom 1990 :Buck 124 12" polished blade /stag handles
Klinkhammer II 2005 : Buck 124 ,serreated blade ,Ironwood, polished stag handles.

WOW! I love my regular old style 124 but i always felt the blade was a little short for the handle size, handle heavy and not blade heavy. But your custom 124 12incher is freakin beautiful and incontrovertibly not handle heavy, lol!

the other 124 is sweet as well!

These are Bucks. Two 110's and a 110 Spiderweb. The second pic is my 105 and my 119.

Scott,

Do you think the non-micarta 112 in picture is Segua or Ebony. I thought I needed a Segua for the three third versions. .. 300$s

300Bucks, to be honest, I can't tell in the picture. Look at the thin side of the inlay, the grain is very different, like a bunch of dimples in the grain of the wood.
Here are 3 Segua inlay 112's, coloring is bit different on each, but the unique grain is consistent. Hope these help:

Scott that is a good example of buck education's!!
to bad i had to sware off 112's
i have none now...
zip nada... she is not my girl friend any more...

Dang, I've got dimples, better look for the ebony now. Thanks Scott, I love good 'Knife Science'. Mine is a copy of your center one in good light........300$s

Muskrat man has done some refurbishing, filework and handle changing for 2 old Bucks.

The 112 FG and 110 both got the same filework and Amboyna scales. The 112 needed some extra work. These pixs are from muskrat man and the knives should be on their way to join the herd shortly. Thank you muskrat man!

Buck 124 1986 w/ Colt logo ,Stag scales w/110 Colt and Buck 500 Colt

Yep she had a twin sister.

Thanks for lookin'
click pic twice to enlarge.

No twin sister here. This one is a little different. It has an image of Sam Colt, instead of the horse and a little more gold scroll work. The handle is Wooly Mammoth Ivory, which were added by Leroy Remer. It is not numbered. It just has BUCK/124/U.S.A. on the back. Not the BUCK CUSTOM USA, which is on the front of the others. I do believe it is a prototype of the ones that were produced. The display case came from evil bay and is exactly like the ones that the production knives came in.

Outstanding, hkingdom! Congratulations! Now with that, there are only 30-odd Colt 124s still 'out there' in either Sambar or ivory, minus what was re-called, of course. I am happy for you....and 3E and jb and.............

Dave

I was saving my cash for a 419 or maybe even a custom shop 110 but then I found a S&W 645 that needed a new home. It's pictured with my folding alpha hunter. Guess I need to find some rosewood grips for the 645 so they match :D

So now I need to start saving all over again for that 419 :o
