Official Buck Picture Thread

300Bucks that 825 looks close in size to a 525, am I correct? I have never seen that one. I'm kind of starting to collect the 525 sized knives-they're small and fairly inexpensive for a poor civil servant like me, plus there's a million variations. My wife has given me one for our last two anniversaries,
a Kittery Trading Post that I wrote about last year and an American Eagle this year. That one you have is a beauty. Now that I looked again, does it say B25 or 825?

Nice knife!! I like (and collect) these 505 and relatives. It has the same blade size . Like Rat Pack wrote: The "Liberty" is a 825.

Best,

It's not a 110 but just a change of photos here near Veterans Day.

Just a fwiw,,, the copper emblem is supposed to be from material actually taken from the Statue of Liberty during it's restoration. Many of these knives have a certificate thing about that. If you have one, look at the signature. Lee Iaccoca headed that restoration project. Yup, the car guy.

Here's my BCC knife from 1991 or 1992, can't remember for sure. Stag handles, Damascus blade, nickel bolsters, etched on the reverse side with 661/260 (member #/# made). Came with a nice glass display box. Sorry that scan isn't too great, couldn't seem to get a good photo for some reason.

Hi Roo,

Looks great to me....I need to get the clone of yours and the 112 to go with it. That is one of the best BCCI knives issued to date IMHO.

Thanks, jb, it's the only Buck I wouldn't carry. That bothered me for awhile but now I like that it's in pristine condition.

300-You're killing me with these 525 sized ones, beautiful!

Here are some Oddball 300s, you know if you look enough you run on to these odd, home customized or altered knives. Here are three, mostly for humor, the little bit sad type. 300Bucks

301 Fourth version someone ruined by trying to make it look like a first version with grooved bolsters.

A nice Elk scale 309, and dang it if someone didn't break a blade off and then home replace it with some off brand blade. They could have sent it in and it would have been fixed. I may find a bad knife of same era with a good secondary blade and send it in for swap out. BUT scale is cracked in a V at rivet on off side. Always insist to see both sides of the older stag scale knives......
Oddball309-1.jpg

A 303 someone slipped out of the factory unfinished, it has 1988 dated blade but a 89 shield and bolsters and blades are unpolishedand unsharpened.

You mention to a BUCK brother, casually, that you are going to look for a 121 to use when doing man's meat cooking work around the grill and kitchen and BAM. One shows up unannounced in the mail. This Gulf Stream working brother is solid on the the BB team in my eye..... and nice knife also....300Bucks:thumbup:

Left: Alpha Dorado (154CM version) camo scales.
Right: Mini Alpha Hunter with camo scales.

Had plans to (attempt to) redo the scales on both of these in green canvas micarta, but the factory stuff kinda grew on me.
If I ever get around to it, I'll post an update. Until then, I'll just have to make sure I don't drop these in the thick. :P
