OK, here is my entry.

Small hunter
3" blade; 7" OAL
Stainless damascus with thorn filework
Mammoth ivory handle with natural mineralization and laminations
Sterling silver bolster
Marked - S.E.APELT front side and Kanji obverse side ( BLADESMITH)
Oiled sheath

I have had This piece of ivory on the bench for a while. I wanted to do something neat with it in the way of a dressed up user. The one side ( in the photo) has variations of cream color, and the other side ( not shown) shows the natural laminations ( or, more properly, de-laminations) of the tusk as it sat in the ground, freezing and thawing for ten to twenty thousand years. I sealed the lines and think they add character.

Again, my compliments to all!
There's some very interesting knives being entered!
And Stacy, your knife would have looked very well at home on my work bench.
Ah well, next year...

Stacy, That's a great looking knife! What style would you call that?

You can tell everyone really put their heart in to this years KITH. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite holiday traditions!

Guy's I apologize I didnt get my knife and sheath finished I put it off too long then had too much going on. Looks like some awesome knives this year I will be ready next year.
Anthony

The style is a small hunter....sort of like a bird and trout.
The steel is twist pattern Stainless damascus from Devin Thomas.
Damasteel is a European ,powdered metallurgy, trademarked product.

They are in the KITH. Rusty didn't get photos in this thread , but has been in contact with me ,and his knife is finished. Michael has already shipped his knife. His photo was post #21. I believe Rusty travels with his work, and doesn't get on his home computer until the weekends.
