3.08 tonight
25.69 total for the challenge. While I didn't make it 50 miles, I did make it half way. Had it not been for this, I'd have not gotten off my butt at all.
I mistakenly edited what I wanted to quote.
Regardless, I only made it half way.

Any motion is good motion.

We're going to give the "Move Your Butt" challenge a rest for the holidays and kick it back off for another 50 on January 1. That'll give me a chance to rest my Achilles, get back on the yoga bandwagon, and do some core work.

May also run a simultaneous Becker 500 for the year.

Got two more miles in yesterday, but had no PC to post from.
Total Becker Points = 52.

Flew about 400 miles today. Probably walked a mile in airports, but didn't track it and don't know for sure.

Awesome thread. I try to walk a bit most days, but this really pushed me to extend them, do some jogging/running, and to go out even when I didn't really feel like it.
And my daughter, today, told me I look skinny and must have lost weight!

It's awesome when the little ones say it!

Hey folks, we're setting up a body weight/ weight lifting point challenge that will kick off January 1. It will run concurrent to the new MYB challenge, but the challenges are separate. If you are interested in the new challenge, please sign up here.

'twas a great challenge, y'all! Thanks for letting me join, and thanks again to Guyon for taking the initiative to put this into action. I'm looking forward to the January 1 challenges; I'm also looking forward to resting my body in anticipation of those endeavors :D

Alas, I didn't have time tonight to do 4.5 miles and finish with an even 60. On the upsides - 1) I made the 50 points; 2 - finishing with 55.5 points is kinda cool; 3) I have something to shoot for next round (60 points); and 4 - I didn't have time to put in more miles because a friend got his coal forge up and running, so I spent this afternoon hammering an old rasp into something that almost resembles a knife :p

Have a good two weeks' break, y'all!

Great thread allowed me to get back into a conscious routine, with health benefits, but I'll be damned if I didn't lose one freaking pound; if anything, I've gained about 7 lbs since this fitness thing started.

Once I get the time (that is, once work stops kicking my butt so hard), I'll go through the thread and make a list of successful participants.
Those who want a "Move Your Butt" certificate will be invited to send me a street address, and I'll mail out some Ethan-approved certificates and some attaboys/attagirls.
