OFFICIAL NY Custom Knife Show thread: post all related questions/info here.

Hello all,

Well it's roughly 3 weeks until the show and I have seen a ton of related threads floating around in every forum. I figured it would be easier to make one post for ALL NYCKS material. I think this would be helpfull to do for every knife show as to eliminate the scattered flood of info.

I will be attending on Friday the 2nd, I will be there before the doors open. You can't miss me, I will most likely be the smallest person there and I will be wearing sunglasses indoors(very sensitive eyes)I will also be wearing a nametag. If you see me, say hello.

If you will be attending the show, give the date and time and if you like, a brief discription of yourself. Maybe we will be able to meet a lot of BFC members this time.

Hopefully someone will post wheather or not the nametags will be available at this show.
 
I'll also be there before the doors open on Friday. I'm 6'2" & the pic in my avatar gives a rough idea of my appearance so I shouldn't be too hard to find either. I'll exchange a NY Yankee cap for the boonie hat & won't have the Sandbar Bowie... probably not in my hand, at least. ;) One of my first stops will be Andy Pricso's ATC table. If we don't meet beforehand in the lobby, maybe we can hook up there to talk Hawks, Louis.

BTW, I printed a new batch of BladeForums ID labels. They are the same 2"x4" size as in the past but these have a dark blue border that should make them a little easier to spot. Andy Prisco of the American Tomahawk Company will be distributing the labels at his table. So be sure to stop by, say hello, and pick up an ID label.

I'm there guys, I doubt I'll have any money to buy anything, but it won't stop me from having a great time and socializing. I already have a nametag that Louis sent me. :)

That's me in the white tee shirt, I don't know who the guy is with the cowboy hat? He assaulted me just as my buddy Max Burnett was snapping the picture and I was forced to defend myself with my Ed Fowler "Pronghorn" :D

FYI, if I owe you money...I just told you I don't have any...I will be armed...and I'm not afraid to use them...so just take the loss and nobody will get hurt. :p
 
Oh yeah, I'll be there before it opens and probably after it closes on Friday. If you owe Phil money, just give it to me, I'll make sure he gets it. Thanks for printing the tags again Brian.

Hey, what knives (or other sharp objects) are you guys bringing for Show-N-Tell in the lobby?

I'll have, my Pronghorn, Carson "Stellite & Stag", PJ Tomes "Tah Chee Bowie" and some others.
 
Really looking forward to seeing you guys at the show. Phil emailed me saying that he is not going to go because he is afriad Dave is gonna beat him up and steal his money. Phil, don't worry, I'll hold on to your money for you and then Dave will have no reason to hurt you:p
 
I'm bringing my CQC6 and if it goes as planned I'll be leaving with:
Pronghorn, Carson "Stellite & Stag", PJ Tomes "Tah Chee Bowie" and some others. Bwahahahahahaha

I'll probably have my John Greco "Bones", Hossom Texican, and maybe my small fixed blade by Theuns Prinsloo, right now it is with Normark getting a killer CF Concealex sheath.

This is gonna be a damn good show, now I have to figure out what I am gonna do with my new CQC6, Pronghorn, Carson "Stellite & Stag", PJ Tomes "Tah Chee Bowie" and some others.

What else are you guys bringing for me?;)
 
Hey Dave, I have always thought kindly of you. Do you lift weights? I wanna be your buddy, pal, but bring that beauty of an Emerson and maybe we can work out a trade. I will be the guy running with you chasing me when I offer you 100 bucks for it, then I will just have to whip out my H&K !!!!! Just kidding big feller. I would put a picture of what I look like, but I got the camera, have no clue how to plop a pic on a post and then dave would know what I look like when I sneak up on him and wave that 100 dollar bill.....wolf:cool:
 
By the way Dave. Congrats on all those Great accomplishments and DRUG-FREE!!!!! I dragged 5,000 pounds once, but then my winch on my 4X4 cooked. Hell, I have a hard time dragging a 200 pound deer and you are lifting 700 pounds. Time for a fork lift for me!!!! man that is amazing. Go ahead and beat up Phil, I don't know him yet, but don't hit me, I am a cripple!!!!!wolf
 
Wow, I feel so much better knowing Louis will be there to protect me from Dave, all 4'2" of him. ;)

For you folks that think I'm suggesting the use of weapons for violence...Relax....nothing could be further from the truth. Besides any expert will tell you, there's not a hawk made that could penetrate that much bone.

Hum I hear you can catch a weekend flight from ATL to NYC pretty cheap. Not much to fear with Phil and lifter to protect me. Hum...
